Lesley Ann Sharp Dip USWA
Hon. President USWA Owner of Fair Frames picture framers of Antrim www.fairframes.co.uk I have always loved art and painted and drew as a child, entering and winning several competitions and gaining O and A level art and AO history of art. I was all set to go to art college but my love of horses especially my pony Secret won and I was off with him to Newmarket to train as a riding instructor, gaining my BHSAI with honours. However art has always played a big part in my life and I continued to draw and paint to help fund my showjumping and teaching career. In 2000 I did a year's apprenticeship as a picture framer and purchased Fair Frames in 2001. I also did a 2 year Art Foundation Course and was inspired to try more mediums and materials by my tutor. I moved to Northern Ireland in 2011 joining in the wonderful art scene over here exhibiting regularly with various clubs and groups. I am thoroughly enjoying my new role as Vis Art's latest Tutor and I hope to share my love of art with all the members. www.facebook.com/lesleyannart |

I started painting over 30 years ago, attending classes with Suzanne Forth in Ballymena, Chris Dearden and Helen Condy in Queens University Belfast and obtained GCSE and A level in Art.
I am a full member of the Pastel Society of Ireland and the Ulster Society of Women Artists (USWA) and have qualified for a diploma with USWA. Over the years I have been given many awards for my work. I have tutored a wide range of people, from Primary school pupils, GCSE and A level pupils to adult classes, as in Vis Art. I do demonstrations and workshops for art groups in Oils, Watercolour and Pastels. |

Sorrel Wills a former tutor.
I studied Fine Craft Design (Ceramics) at the University of Ulster in York Street in Belfast. After graduating I had a bone china business until I began my family.
Interior design was my next creative interest until I started painting again in 2014. I have participated in several group and solo exhibitions and there is another solo one coming up April 2020 at Oriel Gallery in Clotworthy Art Centre in Antrim. I am a past President of Ulster Society of Women Artists (USWA). I teach drawing and painting classes in Clotworthy as well as in Vis Art - of course, I also do demonstrations for art groups of oil painting using palette knives. |
