Donation to Parkinson's UK in NI

 Our chosen charity for 25/26 was Parkinson's UK in NI and today Emma came to accept our donation and give us some vital information on the work of the charity.  Emma thanked us for our donation and then spoke briefly and reminded us that many are not aware of the different forms that this condition takes and how necessary early diagnosis is to the the comfort of the sufferer.  Parkinson's, affects not only the patient but their friends and family too and adjustments often need to be made to daily routines. To assist everyone affected the charity funds research, have local groups which can be joined and specialised nurses who give expert care to those with the condition.
